Went for the Nike Run in the City 10K. Quite a happening event. All 12000 runners wore a bright luminous Lime Greenish Yellow kinda DriFit Shirt. There were bands, deejays and even dancers located at intervals along the route to spur the runners on.
Flag off was at the road in between Marina Square and Floating Stadium towards S'pore Flyer. Made a turn towards nicoll highway towards esplanade, made a u-turn along nicoll highway and ran towards kallang and made a turn towards crawford and ended back at the floating stadium.
Finishers didn't get a medal though for this race. Instead we got a Nike figurine.
